How to Convert PDF to JPG for Free (High Quality)
By DocFila Team · April 24, 2026 · 4 min read
Need to drop a single PDF page into a presentation? Embed an invoice in an email signature? Send a contract preview through WhatsApp? Converting PDF pages to JPG (or PNG) is the answer. DocFila does it in two taps with full control over quality.
PDF to JPG step-by-step
- Open the PDF in DocFila → PDF Tools → Convert → To Image.
- Choose JPG, PNG, or HEIC. Pick DPI: 72 (web), 150 (standard), 300 (print).
- Select page range: All, Specific pages, or just the cover.
- Tap Convert. Each page becomes one image.
- Save to Photos, share, or batch-zip for email.
Choosing the right format
- JPG: smallest file, perfect for photos and most documents. The default for email and web.
- PNG: larger, but preserves crisp text and supports transparency. Best for screenshots, charts, and logos.
- HEIC: Apple's modern format, ~50% smaller than JPG with the same quality. Use for AirDrop or Apple Photos.
Convert just a single page
Don't need every page? Open the PDF, swipe to the page you want, tap the share icon, and choose Save as Image. One-tap export for invoices, certificates, and forms.
Reverse: convert JPG back to PDF
Combining the two — for example, scanning paper as JPGs and bundling them into one PDF — is what the image-to-PDF tool is for. Useful for combining receipts, IDs, or notes into a single shareable file.
